Expo Business Communications B.V. is a B2B media company and the owner/organizer of international trade fairs and online events for the food industry. Our main platform is the Free From Functional Food Event, taking place in Amsterdam, Bangkok and Barcelona, Spain and the Free From Expo Packaging.
Event Manager Marcom & Operations M/V (40 hrs/ week)
All round Event Manager with a focus on Operations and Visitor Marketing -
We are seeking for a new colleague who’s gifted and talented running the Marcom & Ops dprtmnt for our business community of Exhibitors, Speakers and Visitors. From 4 months before opening you will be responsible for the technical part of the trade fair serving our Exhibitors and Suppliers, which we call Operations. After the fair you take the lead in all on- and off-line Marketing Communications, fueling these channels with market content and - insights building our food industry community (retail and industry covering vegan, free from, organic and food ingredients). Job description/Responsibilities
Event Manager MarCom Ops will be responsible for:
- Exhibitor Handbook and (onsite) Operations Management
- Sales Support, Back Office and Office Management;
- Visitor Program Retail and Pre-Regs Entry;
- Speaker Program Search & Selection;
- Fueling Online MarCom channels, together with our Webmaster;
- Online Program of Webinars and Social Channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
- Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.);
- Microsoft Visio.
Competences and skills - Accuracy;
- Correct in writing and strong communicator;
- Full skilled English in speaking and writing;
- Socially skilled, team player and no-nonsense attitude as organizer;
- Affinity with Marketing and B2B Social Media;
Your profile - Minimum HBO education;
- Service minded;
- Organizational and multitasking mentality;
- Skilled personal communications;
- Strong customer-first mentality;
- Flexible and stress proved;
- Team player;
- Your first or second job position;
- Prepared to work during the weekend few times a year.
